Rhea and Aspen’s attraction burns hotter than dragon fire, but her suspicions prove right when they discover a growing cult on their quest. Using the dragon hordes and victims as sacrifices, The Silver Scaled Church seeks to release Brangwen, Auryn’s sister and divine rival, from the Netherworld. They believe Rhea will herald in Brangwen’s uprising, forcing her to decide if she’ll fulfill a prophecy or forge a new path for love and bring about Brangwen’s end—that is, if the evil dragon goddess doesn’t ascend and kill them all first.
